Some sailors were able to turn scraps of wood and rope into wonderful and interesting works of folk art. Similarly, soldiers and sailors in WWI whiled away their time by fashioning lighters from bullet casings. Form follows function and every part of this lighter makes complete sense. The sliding outer case shields the flame and the small cap snuffs it. Includes a brass ring for keys. Uses lighter fluid.
